FIDO Security Laboratory Accreditation Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The full Accreditation process and requirements for laboratories is defined in the Security Laboratory Accreditation Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Review the FIDO Security Laboratory Accreditation Policy, ensure your lab meets the minimum third-party accreditation requirements (below).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Complete the FIDO Accreditation Application Form<\/a> and submit it to FIDO<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. If the application is Approved, schedule an on-boarding call with the FIDO Security Secretariat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Complete the Legal Agreements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Schedule Training and Knowledge Testing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Pay Accreditation Fees, Create a FIDO Account for Approved Evaluators<\/a>, and Complete the Accreditation Certificate Request.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Third-Party Accreditation Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    A laboratory must have Accreditation from at least one of these ISO 17025 programs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Additionally, the laboratory must have Accreditation from at least one of the following Accepted Third-Party Accreditations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    FIDO Laboratory Accreditation Fees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The following fees apply to Laboratory Accreditation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Initial Accreditation Fee*<\/td>$11,500 USD<\/td>$15,000 USD<\/td><\/tr>
    Yearly Fee*<\/td>$3,800 USD<\/td>$5,000 USD<\/td><\/tr>
    Renewal Assessment Fee<\/td>$11,500 USD<\/td>$15,000 USD<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Initial Accreditation Fee<\/strong>
    The Initial Accreditation Fee is due prior to the issuance of the Laboratory Accreditation Certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Yearly Fee<\/strong>
    The yearly fee will be invoiced and due in January. The Yearly Fee does not apply on years where there is a Renewal Assessment Fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Renewal Assessment Fee<\/strong>
    The Renewal Assessment fee will be due every three years from the Certificate Issuance date. Laboratories are required to complete the Renewal Assessment process prior to the expiration of their Certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    *FIDO Alliance<\/a> has special pricing for labs that are seeking, or wishing to add, more than one type of lab accreditation (i.e. security and biometric). Please contact\u00a0certification@fidoalliance.org<\/a>\u00a0for this special pricing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
